I am an entrepreneur, I know what it means to not have the right food on the table, I understand what it means to live from one pay-check to another. I comprehend what it means to have two to three jobs just to pay bills and put food on the table. Vote in favor of change. A vote for me will put people of Toronto first and l will make their voices heard. Don't waste your time on tested and failed promises
I firmly believe in creating a city where everyone is treated with fairness, respect, and dignity. I will work tirelessly to promote equality and inclusivity, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background in our community.
I believe that auto insurance should be affordable and accessible to all residents. I will work towards implementing policies that promote competitive pricing, transparency, and fair practices within the insurance industry. I will advocate for measures that ensure affordable coverage options for low-income individuals and families, while also addressing the needs of different demographics and driving profiles.
Recognizing the diverse needs and preferences of elderly individuals and those with special needs, I will prioritize person-centered care. I will work with healthcare providers, caregivers, and community organizations to develop care plans that are tailored to individual circumstances, promoting dignity, autonomy, and respect. I will also support training programs for healthcare professionals to enhance their knowledge and skills in providing person-centered care.
As a mayor, l will ensure I m on time and at work every day. Also, I will work collaboratively with the city council, provincial and federal government. In the last ten years of my life in Toronto, I have gone through a lot, like being homeless, working more than two jobs to pay bills, putting food on the table and paying car auto insurance. Once I got home, it was 't easy to pay for rent. After payment of rent, there is not left on the paycheck, especially with this inflation. I believe other Torontonians are going through this right now. As someone like me who have this experience, I know how to address people going through similar situations.
I understand the frustration caused by limited parking spaces. I will collaborate with urban planners and experts to develop effective parking strategies, including expanding parking facilities, implementing smart parking systems that provide real-time availability information, and exploring options for shared parking initiatives. Moreover, I will encourage the use of alternative transportation options to reduce the demand for parking spaces.
Recognizing the importance of physical and mental well-being, I will promote health and wellness initiatives in our parks. This includes partnering with local health organizations to offer fitness programs, yoga classes, and recreational activities that encourage an active lifestyle. Moreover, I will support initiatives that promote mental health awareness, including mindfulness activities and nature therapy programs.
